The Rogue Taxidermist: Nate Hill

Nate Hill takes us on an intimate tour through his world of art and the places he goes to find it. As a "rogue taxidermist," Nate re-assembles dead animal parts found as trash and roadkill into works that resemble new animals and, yes, humans. The ADAM (A Dead Animal Man) project, his largest work, is a life-size male human being fashioned out of everything from cow skull to crab claws. Part performer, Nate is also well know as leader of the Chinatown Garbage Tour where he guides fellow artists and first timers through New York City's finest garbage spots in search of material for their art.
